Keep up the good work! Ernest p.s. How do you post pictures? Thanks

Just have to agree with Bill and 4th, I remember 1969 as being the General's best year ever.
Among rooster tailed, nose coned Chrysler stuff, and four lettered words like "Boss" and "Mach" from FMC, the big G put no nonsense race cars in our alleys, from retail stores, while fighting off the Fed's smog issues as long as they could. Just plain Ballsy. I bought two, a Chevelle SS for driving/towing, and a Camaro SS/RS strictly for street racing. Both were big blocks, in quite different trim. Both were quite pleasing in their own right. Pontiac and Buick were never really competitive, they didn't know how to dress for the formal "bow tie required" ocassion.
That's what sold me on the MM. It's offer to enjoy the plush I've become used to since 1969, and toy with that kind of power, all in one car, is once again just plain ballsy. I was looking (very seriously) to get back into either a '69 Camaro or a '69 Chevelle, when I found "her." Big, black, comfy luxury any dolly would feel at home in, and fast too. Like really fast, one more time. I can tool around patiently, or pound badges into the pavement at will, all the while tinkering quietly at will, and to the limits of my imagination.
To call the MM an "American Muscle Car" is absolutely correct, because it's the Spirit American we're talking about, not the return address on assembled parts. "Do what you want to do," is America's promise to the world, and only in America, does the government promise that you can do exactly that.
Awegeeze, guys...look what I done now...
Sorry.

Did you somehow over look argueably the finest muscle car ever built?

And the 1970 Buick Gran Sport Stage 1 was no slouch, either.

Okay...come get me, I'm due to be bar-b-qued, right?
No reason to beat ERBMs "Hey, Hi, I'm happy to be here" thread to death with nostalgic junk.
Ya got something to say about 69-70 factory muscle cars, please start another thread, let the man enjoy his MM stuff, okay?
Start that, I'll be meet you there.
The two cars mentioned, were no-shows on the street. Paint and trim money whores, none of them could jump a pop bottle like the Camaro did. IMHO.
Peace...
Thanks guys, just got back from bowling. I appreciate the warm welcome. I'M not sure if I'll do any mods a/c of the 69 ss I have and plus I have to drive the MM in the winter so I don't want it too wicked. But I always change my mind in the end. How do you post pictures? All I have is some of the 69. In the fall,I'll take a couple with them together(if they can get along)!!!

You can upload pictures by going to the Photo Gallery and picking a category. Then click the upload button.
ERBM,
Welcome! Be careful. When I tried to get some pics of the '68 and the MM, they started to squirt window cleaner at each other, and had to be separated. I'll try again this spring when I wake up the '68 after her long nap! Maybe that has changed her attitude towards her new brother.

Welcome ERBM, just signing in and noticed your Post. Home of the Marauder is sure growing and growing, day in and day out. Hopefully all Marauder owners will eventually cross paths on this site at one point or another and be able to relate to one another. Enjoy your Marauder.
