Hello, I have a 1998 marquis GS and I was wondering if anyone knows if any marauder parts are transferable to my car. Like wheels, front grill, hop up engine parts. I wanna start with a set of marauder wheels, an exhaust, engine to tail pipe (if anyone knows of a system for the 98 marquis please let me know ) and maybe pulleys, but I dont know where to look for the stuff or if it will even fit. Thanks guys.

Paul

not a lot of parts are going to just "bolt on" (as in there [i] are[/] differences, and some adjustments may be required, or whole Assemblies). Your engine is SOHC, vs the Marauders DOHC. Many the SOHC Mustang parts will fit your engine.

Welcome Paul!

I don't know if the wheels and tires would fit due to clearance issues. The front rack / suspension may be different enough to cause something to rub. The rear fender wheel well lip on the MMs are rolled up for more clearance.

Where you from? Maybe one of our brethren would be nice enough to try putting a full sized spare on your car to test fitment.

If you haven't already, try looking around crownvic.net and see what they've transplanted.

Welcome Aboard, PaulS. I have some ideas that could make your GS handle like a MM. Pm me and I'll fill you in.

Welcome, paulS...

The Panther suspension was re-designed for 2003, so I don't believe many, if any, of the suspension parts will fit, including, unfortunately, the wheels. They may physically bolt on, but the offset is very different...

As far as the exhaust, as RCSignals said, the engines are different...without having something custom made, your best bet is to get a dual exhaust setup for a CVPI or for a CV/GM with the HPP (Handling and Performance Package).

Underdrive pulleys are common for your motor...e-Bay usually has them, and they're also available from a number of the vendors here...

As HwyCruiser mentioned, you can also get a lot of good info from www.crownvic.net and from www.crownvic.us ...
