Help?
Installing an AVIC-N1 into my machine and need to tap into the speed sensor wire.... Those of you with tech manuals, can you please identify this wire for me so I don't spend an inordinate amount of time looking for it?

Those of you with tech manuals, can you please identify this wire for me so I don't spend an inordinate amount of time looking for it?The wire you are looking for is GREY/BLACK and you can access it either at the instrument cluster connector or at pin 14 on the primary headunit connector. If you need a real diagram or connector view, let me know. I work for ALLDATA so I have this information right in front of me. :)

Sigh.. Maybe I'm blind, but I don't see this wire in the harness. Marauder's stereo is not speed sensitive, so maybe it's not there?

Pioneer's new all-in-one Media server. Has state of the art navigation, DVD, touch screen controls, vehicle dynamic's gauges, mp3, etc etc etc...I had an AVH-P6500DVD with XM module and 12 cd changer, which just plug into this upgraded unit.
The Navigation is creme of the crop, superior to almost all offerings available today. Voice recognition, 12 million points of interest... The reason I need the speed sensor wire is because the unit supports dead reckoning, in otherwords, when it doesn't have a GPS signal because of an obstruction or cloud cover, it knows via the speed sensor how fast you're going and can continue to plot your course along the route despite the temporary lack of gps signals.
Cool stuff.
