I was wondering if anyone was running with these. I've only seen people post 40 series or the delta 40s. If you have this muffler please chime in and if you have a sound clip please post a link.

Do any of you guys have sound clips yet? It sounds great on the flowmaster site, but would like to hear it on a MM.

I have nothing to say about those mufflers good or bad since I haven't heard them on a Marauder yet, but just a tip for you here....I'd be careful about relying on sound clips, because the ones I've heard never sound close the real thing.

yeah, i know , but it would be closer to what it would be like. BTW Billy, I heard a '04 Cobra yesterday, that I think you'd love. It was the loudest freaking think I've ever heard. But I digress. This will probably be in my future, but not too soon.

Ok, after hearing MarauderTJA's car with the Super 40s installed and another member who got them but didnt like the sound on his car. I decided to go with them for my car. I havent driven the car yet but just turning it on, it now has that deep tone I wanted. I'll get some sound clips up by this weekend. A very big thank you to Cobra25 for taking my car to get them installed while I was working, because if you couldnt do it, I dont think I would have been able to get them installed ever.
PS, I'll post on how it sounds under load when I get home.

I think they sound great on your Marauder Bill. On the highway they are quite & under load they sound mean!

I have a pair of used Super 40's that I had on my Marauder the first time around. Used them for 3 weeks and removed them. They were too loud for me, but probably not for some of you!
They now have a 3" header flange welded around one opening that could be removed and used again in a Marauder. I'll get a picture and post them for sale in the Classifieds in case anyone is interested.

I want a deep tone too, but not a loud, loud tone. I love the sound of the Flowmasters on my Mustang, but for the Marauder, I think I'm going with the SS-MagnaFlows. :P

On the ride home it had a nice growl when I got on it. I noticed no cabin drone while on I95 driving at about 70MPH. I did have them put the pipes flush with the bumper so it won't catch underneath. I have yet to really have some fun with it, and like I said I'll get some sound/video up this weekend.

After DR installed my ported/ceramic manifolds and his X-pipe with hi-flow cats, my noise level went up substanially. I love the sound, but thankfully no drone on the highway in o/d. You heard my Super 40's I believe at the Tower shops last month. Wait to you hear them now....wow...Sounds really high tech, kinda like a cross between a Nascar and Indy car.. Glad to see your happy... TOM

Has anyone heard the Flowmaster 50 series mufflers? Talked to rep an he says the 50's have a more bass and mellower tone than the 40's with no cabin drone. Also which gives the best performance?

I havent heard a Flowmast 50 series yet. And just an FYI the weather has been really bad here so It will be a while till I can get some video/sound up.
Had Flowmaster 40's, orginial, not extra crispy, installed yesterday. Not loud enough.
I asked around and got responses that made me feel confident in the sound I could expect, oh well, things like this are so subjective.
Wife say's "no next time".
