To be honest.....after watching them being installed, I was WAY UNDER-charged!!! This was MAJOR surgery!! I never realized just how much stuff had to be removed to get these babies on!! WOW!!!

My Ford Master Tech is THE BEST!!! ......

(THANK YOU ONCE AGAIN SCOTT!!!! YOU ROCK!!!! )

Kathy, yours is the best I've seen so far. Are your covers chromed or powdercoated? Sadly my 04 suffers badly do to the unprotected stock aluminum and weather combo. I need to do something and am looking for the best solution that has some factor of durability against the element :help: . Your Atlanta weather is more car friendly compared to us in Delaware. Thanks Doc.

These valve covers are ceramic metallic coated, not powder coated or polished. This is the same stuff used on headers. The process smooths out the finish on our valve covers to a certain extent, as you can see the results are very nice. The coil covers are polished aluminum from Ford Racing. MC can give you the particulars, but I do know this process is much less expensive than having the valve covers polished.

I haven't seen another MM with covers quite like these. Yet another trail blazed by our own lovable female gearhead, MC.

Thanks Donny for the heads up! That is the best solution yet for what I've got happening to my covers (caused by atmospheric element). This Ceramic coating has been on my SS Nova headers for years. Holds up very well. Great call !!! I believe Jet Coat is a reputable Co. for this process. This AM I got a hold of Ford Racing and they directed me to Summitt Racing for the coil covers. Said to expect to pay $239 for the pair. MC is a trailblazer. Thanks again Doc V
