Two recent trips from Green bay to central Illinois to move my mother up to Green Bay did not see one Marauder in over two thousand miles. One used at a Ford dealer and one new 2004 Silver birch at a dealer but not a one on the highway. Several 94-96 Impala SS,Z06 corvettes Mustangs and a new Rolls Royce but not a MM to be seen.

I experenced the same thing when I drove to Atlanta last month 1700 miles 3 days and no Marauders. Except those in Atlanta of course:) Not many high--end cars in route. Still any trip in the Marauder is a great one!!!!!

I am also back from a 2,600 mile road trip to and from Joplin, Mo. I also didn't see one Marauder.

We drove from LI, NY to Fayetteville to Las Vegas and I am sure I was the only MM on the road.

And this is a bad thing because . . . ?

Don't you LIKE being the only one around?

I would much rather be the only one than 1 of 100. Maybe it's just me.

I just saw my first Marauder on the street in the past two years of watching! It was an '04 Marauder DTR with the rear decklid spoiler. I now understand why everybody is always pulling up alongside and asking me about my '04 DTR Marauder, or ogling it at stop lights. As nice and cool they are to drive and ride in...they're way awsome to watch driving by.

There are a few MM in the SE WI area I live in but you don't see them very often. If I ever get my MM i would drive it more than my current driver. There are lots of MM in Detriot Michigan.

Yeah Hack, it sucks that they are so common. I bet I wouldn't see myself coming and going if I drove a Pacer.

Yes Hack,

In the photo it looks like you have one of those common blue marauders. I see one of those pretty much every day. :)

I too just returned from a road trip from Alabama to Southern Indiana, and did not see a single Marauder on the road.

As a side note, this was my first trip with 4.10 gears. I have the Stage I kit. On a previous trip with the Stage 1 tune, I saw fuel mileage of over 25 MPG on one tank while I had the 3.55 gears still installed. On this trip after having the 4.1o gears installed and re-tuned for the 4.10 gears, I consistently averaged just a hair under 21 MPG. he car runs great, however. It turns 2500 RPM at 75 where it used to turn about 2100 at 75. I suspect that is the difference. I am thinging about calling Dennis and asking if it would be OK to retune the chip using the 3.55 program with the 4.10 gears since that is the program where I got the best mileage. I do have plenty of power on the low side now. Most of my driving is done around town anyway. I guess I can get used to the poorer mileage if nothing can be done about it.

Same here Blue Oval. I make a run from Northern Wisconsin through Green Bay to the Chicago area at least twice a month for business and I've only ever seen one in WI... and I've only seen a couple in the Chicago 'burbs too. I tend to drive off hours to avoid the traffic, so maybe that's why.

Just finished a 900 mile road trip with the 2003 TBird. First extended trip since I bought the car in May 2003. Just hit 5,000 miles.

Went from North Jersey to the White Mountain area of New Hampshire (Conway/North Conway) to Burlington Vt and back to NJ.

Top down all the way. I was lucky; the only real bad weather day was Friday and I was in our Vermont office all day. Arms got a good burn, but the NH scenery, especially viewing Mount Washington with the top down, was stunning. Almost took the car up the Mt Washington auto road (I've done it already about three times), but you could see from the base that the wind/clouds were really whipping around up there, so I said the heck with it. (On one of my trips up the mountain, the base temp was 73 while the summit was 35 with a 60mph wind.)

Not one MM was spotted. (Only saw one other TBird.) Averaged 25.7 with a best tank of close to 28.

Couldn't ask for a better road car, unless you needed a back seat and/or big trunk. Then, the Bird's got problems.

Just finished a trip to Romeoville/Bolingbrook for a wedding and saw one on Remington Road this past Saturday around 4:15-4:30 PM.

Anyone here? I wasn't in my MM at the time -- I was in the wedding limo/bus. I did drive my MM up there and back but didn't see any others.

Were you in one of those Excursion Limo's? I saw a White one and a Silver one Saturday evening. You saw me, I was on my way to a freinds house in New Lenox for a weekend BBQ.
