I did a search, but really didn't find what I was looking for. Is the jacket program still going on? The last post that I saw on the search was an 04 purchase in March, who recieved one. I bought my MM in June so I was wondering is there any official word if the jacket program is no more? Anyone purchase after March get the postcard?

My post card took about 1.5 months to arrive. I'd check with your salesman and see... if he doesn't know (which he won't) call the Beanstalk group. If you run a "jacket" search you'll find the #.

Yup, the jacket program is still on - I bought an 04 on May 11,04 and received my card 4 weeks later.

Yes I bought my 03 new in april 2004 you will receive the card for a free jacket.

Thanks again for all the replies. I e-mailed beanstalk this morning and got a response a few hours later. The promotion is still on, but it may take up to 2 months to get the postcard. I was told to call or e-mail back if I didn't recieve the card within that period of time..

I bought my Marauder in May of 04. About a month later I got a post card asking my size, got my leather jacket about 3 weeks ago. I assume that the program is still going on. Since the Ford is not making the Marauder any more, anyone have any idea if we can buy another jacket?

I called Mercury today: 800.521.4140 and talked to Michelle. Very helpfull and will see to it that I will get
the jacket. My wife needs a size medium which is backordered though and will take 8-10 weeks.
Car was purchased 052804 and I never got a postcard.
So if your still waiting after 2 plus months just call Mercury.:burnout:

Medium jackets seem to be a problem. Got my 04' 10/03, card 2/04 and told weeks later there is a 10 week wait for medium. Well, here it is, my car is having it's anniversary soon and still no jacket. I just put in a call. Better hear from them soon. :fire:

I went through the Customer Service link on the Mercury Vehicles website after I bought my 2003 MM last October.

Received the post card within a week and the jacket by Thanksgiving. Six weeks total. I know that they had a snag at the beginning of the 2004 MM sales; but that should all be ironed out now.

As a last ditch effort and failing all else, place a phonecall to Ford HQ and insist on speaking to Elena Ford -- she was in charge of the Mercury Division for most of the Marauder period. She signed the letter that came with my jacket.

I bought my Marauder mid May 04 and got my postcard a month later. I sat on it for a while, but have just recently sent it in. I pulled a BigDog, and requested a larger size 3XL. I can't wait until it comes!

I ordered a medium and was told in mid May that it was on a 10 week back order. :( Well, 10 weeks has come and gone. Still no jacket. :mad2: I wonder what they will tell me if I call back?

thanks for any help I picked up my new '04 MM DTR on June 5th, '04. But I still have not received a card for my leather jacket. I've called the Beanstalk group and the Mercury customer service people on several occasions. As of today, still no card. They told me that they used to get the new buyer info from Mercury every couple of weeks. But now they get it every 1 to 2 months. When I spoke to them last week, they said to wait until this friday. They were confident that my card was in the mail. No luck so far. My biggest fear is that L-M will suddenly scrap the jacket program, now that the MM is out of production. The people told me that won't happen and not to worry. Once I do receive my card, I found out that my size is out of stock right now and it will take another two months to receive it.

I'm just can't wait to get the leather jacket. It looks so cool. When I picked up my car, the salesman didn't know much about the jacket program, so he couldn't really help me. Good luck with your jacket.

Just got off the phone with Carol from L/M and she assured me that I will get my jacket BUT!!!!!! she said someone from research would have to look up my file and get back to me in 4-5 working days.I have heard this before(my salesmen told me he would go out his way to get me one,after he told me I would not get one,and Beanstalk never calling me back)but I have a good feeling about this.And if this don`t work I will be hanging with Steve Babcock at the Woodward Dream Cruise next weekend and even though he is not a part of us now I will get down on my knees and beg for some devine intervention.(just kidding)

Got my card yesterday. Bought the MM in early June. I am 5'11" 175#, I will order the large. Need a little room in winter when I want to wear a sweater under the jacket. Beanstalk told me that the jacket can be returned for size exchange if I think it's too large.

I picked up my MM on June 17th and got my card this week. Strange thing was that it had my wife's name on it. She's in Ford's customer files because of her Explorer and they must only allow one name per address---or something. I was worried about getting a card, at all, as the title is really in GE Lease Corporation's name----not mine. I also got a survey (again in my wife's name) last week about my buying "experience" and how the dealer was.

Now I just have to wait for the jacket----I hope it's here for fall weather!!!
