Keith's(NavChap) car arrived in San Diego tonight (Tuesday) and I have it in my posession to take to work for a couple of mods for his drive to Indy.

He wants to drop the front and rear and put his widened wheels on the rear.

Dropping the rear is easy, I did it on my car with a 10mm wrench,

So what I need to know is.....how much to cut the front springs and is it a major undertaking to get the coil-overs out?

And what size tire should I get for the rear, and are we going with stock replacements on the front?

Also the airbag light started flashing when I got in the car(call me Mr Lucky) but I'll get that fixed (whatever it is) under warranty, and the parking brake seems loose but maybe it's supposed to be that way.

Any response would be appreciated as I'm on a tight schedule

Thanks guys

Jefferson,
I went with the P295/45WR-18 Goodyear Eagles F1 GS and kept the front stock.
NOTE: My wheels were widened 1.5" and Keith saw these when he was in Jacksonville.

I like the Eagle F1 GS's too for street use. They're the stock tire on the Lightning and are perfect for our app.

The front coils should get cut a 3/4 of a coil to drop the front end just shy of 1 inch.

I did 1 full coil. 28" from the ground to the center of the front fender lip with stock tires.
