I installed the Bob White Ruby Red reflective bumper inserts about a month ago and love the look. I get even more compliments on the car now. I've even considered getting a set for my Mustang.

But - Saturday I noticed that the lower left corner of one of the A's in MARAUDER was beginning to lift. This is worrisome after just a month and only one wash.

Anybody else notice any problems with theirs?

Macon:

Mine have been on for at least that long, and I've washed it 3 or 4 times but mine haven't started to peel up yet. I just went through a commercial car-wash yesterday (too cold to hand wash up here in New England, now), so I'll keep my eyes open...sorry for your trouble, but thanks for the heads-up...

Macon,

I haven't seen that problem yet and I have been thru the car wash three times since putting them on... I suggest you drop Bob White a note and get a replacement. Now that dirt has made it under the edge onto the adhesive it will probably never stick right....

You're right Wayne. I'm sure if you give Bob White a call, he'll take care of you. Thanks for the heads-up though. I actually haven't washed mine in the month or so I've had them on, but will watch when I do.

Love that Zaino, Wayne...

I've had my ruby reds on for some time now, can't recall the install date. Easily, since then, I've had a dozen high pressure "power" washes, and many hand washes over them. I looked hard today, critical, and didn't see anything out of place...yet.

Like it's been said, thanks for the heads-up, I will watch mine and let y'all know here if anything looks out of place.

Macon while I don't have "white" decals, I to have had one start to curl.I was able to rewet it and I used a hair dryer to force dry it as I was putting some pressure on it.When you got nothing to lose you got to do something?
Haven't had any problems since then.My sourse also sent me some replacement letter's which I'm saving.

chapel1,

Yeah, I feel like I got to do something before it's just gone one day. I was thinking of trying some 3M adhesive I've got lying around the garage. Interesting that you fixed yours just by wetting and drying it.

I wasn't sure about the warranty so I came here before contacting Bob White. As many have commented, I'm sure he'd make good like your vendor.

Thanks for all the feedback.

I just came back from the car wash. I checked my bumper inserts and :( several of the letters are slightly curling up at the tip of some letters(4). It's on those tips that are most pointed. I'm going to try to clean the area and re-stick-------if not I hope Bob White has a fix.

What wax are you using under the decals? The first time that I had graphics installed on my truck, they peeled just like your letters. I didn't have Zaino yet, but it was a very slick spray-on wax/polish. The other variable was the weather, It was very cold outside, but I did have a kerosene heater running in the garage. Replacements installed about six months later, before using the wax again, have stayed stuck for over 2 -1/2 yrs. If nothing sticks to Zaino, that may include decals.

In my case, the car had whatever came on it from the dealer. I cleaned the area twice with alcohol per the instructions. Thought that removed the wax?

It was also pretty warm that day and I applied the letters in the garage.

Anyway, the car has Meguiar's Gold Class on it now.

I emailed Bob. His response was basically that it had to be the surface: the 3M decals COULDN'T be the problem...

chapel1, what decals do you have?
