Yup.

Its a takeoff of Police Interceptor...which is the Crown Victoria P71 model used by law enforcement.

Panther refers to the frame of the car....used by Grand Marquis, Crown Vics and Marauders IIRC.

Hmmmm . . . sent my check for two badges three weeks ago . . . haven't received them yet. Anyone get theirs yet?UPDATE: Got my two badges in the mail in a #10 envelope--they are SWEET!!! Though different from the Ford factory "Police Interceptor" badges (Ford "Police" badges are set in hard, clear plastic--the "Panther" badges are set in a flexible plastic), they are still very, very nice. Quality of typeface and trim graphics is great. I'm really happy I ordered them and recommend them highly to any Panther-body owner.

Sorry for any delays, I'm not a dead beat, I have a house at cape Hatteras, this year my top wind speed has been 135 so far, I'm going nuts with putting up and taking down the storm shutters.This badge has gotten me out of two tickets so far and waved through one check point so far which is the reason I made the badge in the first place, If you drive the speed limit you don't need this product. These ary the same size as the standerd "police interceptor" badge with the same font and color and go in the same location on the rear lower left side of the trunk one inch up from the lower edge and left side edge

I'm curious, how do you get waved through a checkpoint with the badge on the rear of the car?

I have not installed mine yet, but I'll be all over it tomorrow, Never thought about the possible benefits in terms of citation avoidance.

I will be more comfortable with the Interceptor badge than I am with the Police Interceptor badge that is on there now. ...Anyone want a POLICE INTERCEPTOR badge...no charge but will need new double back tape.:)
