Welcome to our beautiful State! Here I live in Indiana and unfortunately of all weekends cannot attend the event. For those of you that have not been here, IRP is a very nice facility. I raced a 90 Mustang there and drove the same Mustang around the 500 track.
One big piece of advice.. if you don't want to spoil it for the club to come back to the Indy 500 track.. listen to the rules and don't be a dumb a$$. I saw a guy get kicked out for stopping on the track and peeling out. Our Mustang club could of got kicked out and never let back in. It is amazing how steep the banking is. I had a chance to do the Be Petty School in a stock car on the track as well.. very cool and very worth the money for the experience.
Gasonline Ally is a pretty cool place of performance shops. I hope you all enjoy your time.
A little bit of Indiana History:
Legend has it that the term Hoosier came from people saying "whos-there" versus "who is there?" when answering the door. Saying it fast with a lazy tongue made it sound like hoosier. Apparently, they din't speek so well bak den. Remeber "legend has it".... :baaa:
