New Acura TL

Here's the scenario.

I'm on a 4 lane highway .No traffic at all and the weather is clear . Road is dry .

I'm at a light fiddling with some sales details from my business , when I notice a Black '04 Acura TL pull up beside me .Being somewhat preoccupied , the green flashes and he's on it before I realize he wants to try and put the hurt on the MM .
I know that he's giving it a beating because I'm not really catching him ...for now .

You know sometimes there is a God? And he does smile down upon us occasionly?
Why you might ask ?
Because over the crest of a small hill who's waiting for me at the next light ?
You guessed it.
Rice Boy.

I don't even look over .

Turn the A/C off. Check
Turn O/D off . Check.
Put tranny in Low .Check
Raise RPM's to about 1500 and hold with brake .Check

The light goes green and we are door to door ... for about 2 seconds until the MM catches it's breath and the next thing you know we are Maraudin' .

Barked the tires on the 1-2 shift .The MM is screaming like a wounded beast.
The Acura sounds like my sister's Accord.
Had him by 2 or 3 car lengths and am pulling easily away. Shut it down .

I didn't even look over as he went by.

I really like Maraudin'... wonder if I could get "MARAUDN" on a Pennyslvania plate.

Can you imagine how disillusioned Acura-boy was... one minute he's gloating at the red light and the next he's checking to see if his floor mat is all bunched up under the gas pedal.

Gotta love Maraudin'!
