Those of us who can't be in Indy this weekend are already deprived enough, so we owe it to ourselves to keep the traffic levels up on the website here.
Wanna hear about my plans to clean out the garage?

As long as you haven't stored any guns, soft core porn, or parts to Todd's project car, you'll be A-OK

My garage is about 1/2 clean.
House cleaning took place today....garage is tomorrow and over the weekend.
I miss my car though :(
Its getting the OEM spoiler painted/installed at a local body shop. They do great work...so leaving it overnight wasn't a problem.

Now that you mention it, this would be a good time to clean the garage 'cause the 'Rauder is in the shop (couple mods gettin' done). Lots of room to organize all the *stuff* that has accumualted in there. Hmmmm... clean the garage or watch a movie in the HT? You can probably guess which one is going to win here. :D

got the garage cleaned last weekend, this weekend is insulation and pegboard sheets for the walls; haven't decided what i'm going to do to the ceiling other than the insulation yet though. any ideas? I also have to build some kind of enclosure for the generator and attach it to the garage(we lose power fairly often).
All of this is after 27 holes of golf Saturday and 18 on Sunday if my team does well Sat.

My car has been out on a Secret Mission for so long that I have cleaned and re-cleaned my garage. I also added a really cool clock thanks to my buddy Donny Carlson. Heck, I even put up bumper guards on the walls to protect the fenders and doors.
I miss my car.... :alone:

I'm going to be tearing apart the CV, and doing a patch job on the MM.
I've got another rear badge on the way to replace the one forcibly removed from my MM. Most of the damage is under the badge, so a little sanding and some touch up paint and a new badge will make it all better till I can get $500 to de-badge the thing. Hopefully my dealer will come through on a re-paint under warranty and I won't have to worry about it.
The CV needs all 4 rotors and pads. I also got a new power window regulator and guide assembly. (The windows stopped going up/down during a rain storm a week ago.). Went to a wrecker and got a new one for $50. Have to replace the signal/marker lights too. I phoned every wrecker in town, and few have CV parts. None have the marker light assembly.
And the CV has a port list in the rear, so I think the air suspension solenoid has gone south. It's not leaking air, it's just not filling up.
My dealer had a bear of a time finding the part number to the badge. They had to track my car by serial number, and go by the factory parts list. It's just not in their computerized system.
So that's going to be my long weekend.

I spent $800 on shelves and cabinets for the garage last night. This weekend I plan to pull everything out of the garage, assemble the new storage and pack it all away properly. Next weekend I'll clean the garage furnace and the weekend after that I can install the new lights.

You mind sharing what kind of shelves and cabinets you bought? I'm in planning mode for the same type of thing and would like to see what others are doing.

I've seen a refrigerator in sears that had "diamond plate" on it and had matching cabinets for the garage very cool looking, but i'm not sure how much this set was.

Some of these cabinets do not have a cabinet height that is high enough for us taller guys. Otherwise, they are pretty slick looking.

Yeah I like the way the fridge looks too but I need a "whole garage" solution. Racks, shelves, cabinets, and a workbench.

Brute: Get comfortable with the work height of the countertops before you purchase. I found that a number of the brands were at least 4 inches too low!!

Looks like I'm gonna have a garage sale over here, I found 2 sets of 427 cast iron headers, 2x4 intake for FE, valve covers for FE, hubcaps, look like 5 set's, radiators, ladders I'll never use, ladder bars, I wonder what's lurking up in the loft?

Yo Brute, I went with the Rubbermaid stuff from the Home Labyrinth store. My working counter is an old firedoor from a hospital (dead nuts flat and sturdy) mounted to by the hinges to a 2X6 anchored to the studs at 40" high. The cabinets and storage shelves are that hard vinyl type stuff. I also hung some heavy canvas curtains on a piece of PVC pipe down the centerline of the garage to isolate one side of the garage from the other. This will prevent dust and stuff generated on one side from settling on the car on the other side.
The next step is new lighting and cleaning the wall furnace.
I'll post some pictures after I sleep a little (I'm exhausted).

I saw that also, it was about $800.00 just for the fridge if I remember correctly. Looked good too.

Kept myself entertained by going to an all-Ford show here in STL today.
Wanted to post some pics, but I bumped the limitations of the uploader thingy...SVTOA had a display tent up; I went and talked to 'em. Thinking about joining...the guy under the tent had heard of a Marauder, but never seen one; he 'bout flipped over mine. Said that he owned an '02 Cobra or Mach (think it was Cobra); said that I shouldn't worry too much about the ticking, it's just cam assembly noise and that his had the same thing. He currently runs a SVT Contour. He went nuts when he heard that IRP actually let us onto the track! I guess they're having their own get-together 8-10 October at IRP...
...Lotta Shelbys. Logan woulda liked the CCoA contingent, they were out pretty strong. As I was leaving, a 1970 MM was pulling out; we had a nice conversation, but he was done for the day; his young'uns wanted to go home.
As a final note, got snuck up on by Cruzer on my way home; he'd been left behind by his "wagon train" and was heading south towards home. We pulled off and had a good chat for a few minutes while he located his sunglasses and got in a stand-and-stretch. Hope he makes it back awright...good to meet ya, Maury!

Let's see, I screeded concrete for the shed which will house my "spare" parts, assisted in putting out a fire at the town beach pavillion, went boating/fishing, caught and released a couple fish, went to a play (Much Ado About Nothing), went to a party, tried unsuccessfully to get my 58 boat motor started, found the problem with my 77 boat motor and fixed same, coveted the times being had by the folks in MMVLII here on the site, gave a quickie online welding course to a youngster on another car site, watched the race, and in general had a ball.
