Went to the Track, Ouch!

I took the Marauder to the strip for the first time tonight.
Here are the specs:
Pacemakers Dragway Mt. Vernon, Ohio
Altitude 950 asl
Temp: 84
Track: concrete
Stock MM except for floor mats :D
3/4 tank of fuel

I realize that the 1/8 mile is not our strong point with the MM but I wanted to have some fun. I wasn't expecting to run this slow. I was able to get in 13 runs. EVERY car I ran against from a CRX to a 6.6 Trans AM holed me until the MM hit 2nd then I passed them.

My fastest ET: 10.174 sec.
Slowest ET: 10.509 sec.
Fastest trap: 71.66 mph
Slowest trap: 69.76 mph

With the exception of 2 trap speeds of in high 69's speeds were between 70.06 and 71.66.

I realize my reaction time was awful with a best of .642, but overall I was disappointed with my ET's and trap speeds. Am I being unreasonable with the figures?

No, not for stock. My best 1/8th mile is 9.804sec. 73.984mph. My car is not totally stock. I ran against another member here with a stock MM and he ran a 10.262sec. 70.768mph against me.

Those times are in the ball park. My MM is totally stock and had 14,000 on the clock when I ran at Atco for the first time ever last Sunday. My best was a 15.106 at 93.66 mph, with a r/t of .211. I still had the full sized spare in the trunk and a full tank. I think I lowered the air pressure in my stock tires to 25 psi, power braked up to 2000 rpm's and let the brake fly on the third yellow. It was overcast and in the high 70's and at sea level. I'd like to know what just a chip and gears does to the e/t and trap speed. I'd like to get to 100 mph at the end of the track. :banana2: :banana:

I ran the revs to 2000 at the light but my best ET was when I hardly even revved it up at the light.

On getting to 100 mph, I am also slow on my ZRX, (see below). I run 7.4s at 99 mph at the same track. The MM will need HEAVY mods to do that.
