Made 3 passes at Indy today. Too much wheel spin. 1st run was the best although the reaction time was the worst at .313. 2nd run netted a .106 rt.
Now keep in mind, that IAW the Indy Official on site, the perfect light at Indy is a .000. Now for my 3rd and final run....reaction time was a .002, but I had the worst run of the 3. Again, wheel spin was the culpruit, and street times.

Hmmm, I don't understand Bob. You bothered to post this here, but you've neglected to tell us what your ET's and what your 60' times were. That would let us know exactly how much your tires were spinning.

Billy, I posted the best time in the time slips area. But here are are all three:

Run 1:

r/t .313 60'-2.603 1/4 - et 15.149@95.50

Run 2:

r/t .106 60'-2.876 1/4 -et 15.518@95.52

run 3:

r/t .002 60'-2.567 1/4 - et 16.264@95.49

The car got sideways in the track and I had to lift to straightened out.

AAAHHH, yes, that gives me a clearer picture of what was happening. That's too bad Bob. Did you load up the torque converter before the green? And if so, what did you take the revs up to? Maybe next time you can just try punching it from an idle, and perhaps you'll get good traction then. Either that, or you'll have to invest in some good drag radials. I can't say enough about these Nittos that I have. They work pretty good at the track, as long as I take them down to 22 PSI. And if my car can hook up w/them, then your car should definately be able to. Ofcourse I'm assuming that you still have the factory stock tires. BTW, did you lower the pressure on them before racing? If you ran them over 25 PSI, then that wouls also explain what happened.

The only other possible explanation I can think of is that they took very poor care of that track. But if that was the case, then everyone else would've had the same problem. Was that the case?
