Engine Oil Dip Stick Blown Up 3"

I checked my oil yesterday after the dealer changed it and I know I put the dip stick all the way down. After driving to work, about 50 miles, I looked and the dip stick was sticking up about 3 inches?!?

Has anyone else had this problem?

Hmm, this can happen if there's a blockage in the PCV system, blow-by in the block has to go somewhere, and will exit the dipstick.

That would be something unusual in a new car though.

I'd take it back to the dealer if it does it again, that's for sure!
