Looking for someone that would be willing to help me out and go by Wayne L/M to chk out a car I am negotiating to buy and ship to Fl. Need someone to put an eyeball on the exterior condition (chips, swirlmarks, etc.) as I am buying it sight unseen.

I hope you have better luck than I did. When I was looking for a Grand Marquis with an HPP package a couple of years ago in the Wayne area, the guy wouldn't even drop $500 for a 2000 model with 34,000 miles. He said he just put new tires on. I was thinking "Keep the stock tires, they suck anyway. Just drop the price a bit." :argue: I just ended up walking out and buying a 2001 with 25,000 for the same price. :D

Good luck hunting.

Guys, I'm thinking that he must be getting an outstanding deal since the merc dealer in Wayne, NJ has SIXTEEN 2004 Marauders sitting on their lot according to their website.

Yes, I think it's an outstanding deal. $3,000 less than here. $900. for enclosed shipping, and it's still a couple of Grand better. If you want the price, message me and I will send it.

My buddy wants to ship his corvette from Fl to NJ.
Maybe you two could figure something out??

The car is at Wayne Lincoln Mercury, and I am concerned with the paint. I don't want to get one full of swirl marks. Vin 2MEHM79V04X687033 Really appreciate someone putting an eyeball on it for me. By the way, I found a Fl based company called "Exotic Auto Transport" the cheapest for enclosed shipping. ($973.)

Thanks,

Joe Blair

lol... I'll drive it down to you for half that if you don't mind having a few thousand miles and a good break in for your new car... tolls/gas/airfare back included. lol
