Just saw this on another web site I belong to (not as much as I belong here though.) I'm not too sure if there's anything to do about it, or even worry about, but I wanted to share.

body control modules have been in use since the mid-90's and are becoming more widespread. not all bcms have event recording capability, but most cars have this feature now. if you get into an accident, and weren't doing anything wrong, the bcm will prove it. a guy in illinois hit a girl walking on the side of the road in his 03 corvette, hit a tree and was killed instantly. the girl died also. bcm indicated 115 mph, 85%throttle, 0%brakes. i'm not taking sides, just relaying info.
