Would any of you Eastern Marauderchusetts people like to get together for a cruise or a breakfast or something? There was some mention made of this on Wednesday's chat.

Maybe we could do it on a Wednesday or Friday and cruise up to the track in Epping, NH? I'd say open it up to the whole southern New England area in that case .. Marauder invasion on street night might be cool :)

Thanks for starting this, Steve. I'm definitely interested. Loved watching your "MarauderCam" on Wed. night!!! While an evening to Epping is a bit far for us, a weekend gathering would be great!!! Keep the ideas flowing.

OK Eastern NE Folks - let's get our act together!!!!! Chime in, be counted, show up!!!

I just noticed a few weeks ago they built a Cracker Barrell in Wrentham, Exit 15 on Rte 495 (one exit north of Rte 95) by the outlet mall. Only an hour's ride for us. Also, Percy's Place in Middleboro, right off Rte 495, southeast of Rte 24.

Or.....we could do another kind of cruise on Boston Harbor.....you have connections, Steve?? ;)

They both sound like winners. They don't have that 79 or older rule , do they? Also tonight, in about 5 minutes, I'm headed for Oxford MA, (just south of Worcester) to the Friday night cruise at Dee's Nutz on rte 56 in Oxford. Younger crowd (compared to me) but I'm bringing my son as coolness advisor. I'll let you know what it's like.

We've already participated in the Cape Cod Classic Cruise Night. Newer Vettes and Mustangs attend too. Never been to the other one, though it draws quite a crowd.

Have fun in Oxford!

I tried on two separate occasions (May and June) on this site to get a group to go to the Epping track for day or less.

I failed to get enough interest. But now others are talking about it. Maybe we can pull it off this time.

It's best to give at least a two week notice.

This is it!

I'm going to Epping this Saturday. I'll get there early in the AM (They open at 7AM) and leave in mid-afternoon to baby sit my daughter 's three children.

This will be the first and maybe last for the season.

We' ll see if I really get into this deal.

I'm glad I checked their website. There is no test and tune session. Since I'm a novice who is trying to determine what my car will do in the quarter mile, I can't do what I wanted to do. When I went there last year I took about four runs on a 1/8th mile track since it was wet. I was hoping to get the full quarter mile run this year.

I called the track to find out when the next "test and tune" would be and they said there are no test and tune sessions until 9/18! Wow!

I'll talk to one of my race track enthusiasts to see what I can do.

I'll keep everyone posted. :awe:

I had called the New England Dragway that early afternoon (8/20) just to make sure that the next day (Saturday AM) was okay.

It was raining heavy and they had similar shower activity. So no racing in the PM on 8/20 (Friday afternoon).

There are other options besides "Test and Tune" that I'm investigating but it.
is in the $100+ range and I'm not sure how amny runs and I may have to have a crew man. This is a lot more than the $25 fee that I had paid for at least 5 runs.

Thanks for the information.

I appreciate your invitation to the Cape Cod area, but I don't have enough time as it is to go one hour to the New England Dragway never mind the two hour plus drive and the heavy traffic in the Cape area.

I went to a small cruise night in Millis, MA on one occasion. It was fun to see how old my wife and I are-from looking at all the others.

Since time is short and getting shorter, I've got to determine how fast my car is and get ready for a new exhaust system etc.

I'm aiming for 550 to 600 hp in the next year or so. But I would like to have Lidio and Reinhart to show me the way.

You'all have a good time with that Florida guy!

Met up with Members Paul Berger, his wife Denise and MarauderTJA - Tom from Cape Coral FL, on Saturday night. Tom's Silver '04 was parked in between Paul's and our black '03s. We had quite the crowd around us most the night. Lots of lookers and lots of questions!!!

On Sunday I connected with Marauder S/C #5 and his lovely bride Mrs. #5 at the All Wheels Nationals. Rick's car looked great. Wait till you see his rims!!!! He'll post a picture soon!! BostonMarauder stopped by before I arrived.

Depending on the weather, I'm headed to the Shamrods Cruise Night tomorrow. Who will I see there???
