has anyone covered the floor and behind the back seats with dynamat or brown bread (same stuff only cheaper)?? I wonder how much is needed to do a layer under the carpet on the floor, and then behind the rear seats?? need to block out exhaust/road noise.

Would that be whole wheat or Pumpernickle?

I don't know about Dynamat but I have used the B-Quiet Brown Bread. It's not bad. I put about two layers on the entire floor, trunk and some in the doors. I can't get rid of the dang drone but it's reduced a bit with the windows up. Now my car is probably about 150 lbs. heavier. Oh well. sh_t happens.

I have sound proofed my car from directly behind the front seats, up and over the back deck and also in the trunk. You will find that most of the companies selling deadener on the net have thier products made by companies who make the product for roofing. When I got to the end of my roll and looked at the cardboard tube guess what the sticker said? "Peel & Seal", available in Homedepot for a hell of a lot less. Does it work? Yes. A lot of people use it as deadening material. Very sticky. Lowered the noise from my exhaust a lot. Had a slight tar smell that went away in a few days.
