Has anyone installed a launch control/line lock in their Marauder yet?

I am looking into the Hurst unit and the B&M unit but cannot find out if either one will work with the Marauder. I am assuming either one will but I can't be sure.

So, the questions for the gear heads here are;

1. Are either the B&M or Hurst launch controls MM compatible?
2. Does anyone recommend one or the other and why?

Thanks,

Dan

I'm not positive, but I think Jim --- "jspradii" --- might have done a line-lock on his car. I'll let him chime in on that one.

I know SLP (www.slponline.com) has developed a kit that is specific to the 99-04 Mustangs. It is compatable with the factory ABS. Maybe this kit could be adapted to the MM using different lines.

BuckyBoy - Line-Lock (otherwise known as "roll control" or "launch control") is a device used to lock the front brakes and leave the rear brakes free. This makes it much easier to heat up your tires at the track. It also helps reduce stress and wear from doing "power-brake" style burnouts.

There is usually a button that you would hit. You'd press down on your brakes, hit the button, and then release your brakes. The rears would release and the fronts would stay locked unitl you hit the button again to release them.

I've only had line lock on one car before ( The 69 Roadrunner I had), but I thought that you can install those line lock kits on any car. Summit racing sells them, so you might want to call their tech department to ask this question.
