Got my matte-black door edge guards from FPN today...amazingly, they're actually metal...I expected cheap-o plastic...(not a dig at FPN)
Too dark today and supposed to snow tomorrow, but hopefully this weekend...I'll let y'all know how they come out... :beatnik:

I'll be glad to try, but just holding them up there, I'm not sure you can even SEE them once they're on...just the way I wanted it!

what door edge guards are these?
My Crown Vic comes with matte black plastic guards on the bottom edge of the car... basically it prevents clothing/boots from scraping against the car body.

They're little lips that attach to the side of the door and prevent chips on the immediate side of the door. Baisically, for those who fling their doors open without looking.

My Marauder had a run along the outside passenger side door. The black door edge guards cover that blem and look so tight that nobody even see's them. It's just another little piece of protection that blends nicely to the car.

I bought a set of rubber matte black door edge guards for my Crown Vic for short money at Auto Zone. The nice thing about them is they are so thin they are barely noticeable. Can't tell you how many times they've saved the edge of my doors when family members opened them against the cement walls of my garage before I could yell out a warning!

I agree that the door edge guard is good protection, but who here, is so anxious to get out of the car?

Anyone with a blue car have these? What color if so? Told at LM

Does anyone have a picture of the front OEM Splash-Guards? I think Chapel has them. The bottom of my MM is getting pretty nasty looking.
