What a blast I had last night. Frank (Ultravorx) and I hooked up at "The Pike" and cruise for about an hour. Frank has the thermal camera installed so he prettye much was able to make sure that our travels up and down The Pike were worry free from the local constabulary. We were't doing any racing or anything like that with the occasional sprint from 0-60 having the extra layer of protection was nice.

We cruised all of the local lots where the Rice Kiddies hang. It was nice to have two Marauders to cruise these lots with instead of just one. It was cool to see the kids take notice of the American Iron coming through.

Next time we do this we need to get Billy G up there for a trio of Marauding. It was too much fun on a Saturday night and I felt like our two cars owned the road.

Best,

Dan

I know what you mean Dan about your Marauder owning the road so to speak, because that's what I often feel like when I go criusing around w/my Marauder. And that's a direct result of how other motorists react to our cars. I've found that many car enthusiast including many of the ricers, pay a lot of positive attention to my car. They will get along side me, stare and give me a thumbs up, or roll down their window and say "That car sounds great! What the heck do you have under the hood of that thing?" Or "Nice car, what is it?"

But just so nobody misunderstands me, I'm not saying that I think I own the road when I'm driving my Marauder. I'm merely speaking of a feeling that your car owns it since you have an audience where ever you drive it. I still am curtious while behind the wheel. I don't ride peoples' bumper just to get noticed, or out of being impatient like many drivers do. And I always give my signals, even for lane changes.

I would've been happy to go w/you guys yesterday, but I went camping for a couple days, and I just got back lastnight. Maybe next time Dan.

Yeah guys....check on something for me....

See if BillyG's tires have legal tread depth left. If not I'll send him a ticket in the mail ;) :D

:sing: I prowl alone, all by my self. Sorry, couldn't resist. Sorry I missed out on the Pike deal. Buddy of mine on another site goes quite often with his Cobra, says it's a blast. I did have the pleasure of Maraudering around New Hampshire a couple days this pasat week. It's always cool when the LEO's give a thumbs up when you pass by. Happened several times up there. I also had the pleasure of chauffering around my 14 year old neice and her girl-friend this weekend. They both think the car is "totally awesome." I've got to head back to the Granite State again this week, but after that, maybe I'll take the Pike cruise. When I do, I'll have my eye out for the hard hittin' New Brittan gang!

I would have liked to make the trip for you guys, but the wife had other plans
and the weather supported her plans.

I too, prowl, when I get the chance.

Thursday nights are a classic on Central Avenue and it brings out the rice in everyone.
I love the looks I get when I drive into the Kohl's lot.
The cops give me the wave and thumbs up, and the kids just look and drool...

There is a BBS for The Pike and I began posting there yesterday.

Apparently the Marauders made somewhat of an impact on Saturday night. That girl I referred to in the other thread on this topic, the one with the charged GT, just so happens to be a moderator of that board. What an interesting conincidence!

It was too bad that you guys couldn't make it. I will plan another one and hopefully you will. Ideally, I would like to see us mass up to 8 or so cars before the season really ends.

Oh, and you can't use that "2 Marauders Marauding" comment. I have it copyright :P

Best,

Dan
