I just got my 2004 DTR two weeks ago. Ive now noticed that the wipers wont go fully down to the rest position. They stay in the position as if you had them on intermittent. Is this normal or something for the dealership?

I never had that problem w/my 03, so I'd say it's time for a dealer visit.

I just ran out and checked on my 04. The wipers don't have a intermittant position as far as I can tell. They rest at the same spot both intermittant and off.

If you think they're too high up on your windshield, you're going to have to pop the arms off and set them where you want them (or have the dealer do it)

On my '03, the dealership adjusted the passenger side wiper arm as far down as possible, it still was not at the bootom of the windshield. I took the matter "in hand" and physically bent the arm down about 1/4 inch. Now both wiper arms are level with the bottom of the windshield

I had to bend my own too (the wiper arm, that is...). I also replaced the stock blades with something a little sturdier to handle the Chicago snow.

I noticed the MM wipers don't go to a "hide" position like my CV's did....I bent mine to adjust also!! ;)

If you take them off you'll notice the arms have keys in them so you cannot move them a tooth or two on the drive post like you used to be able to....Sooooo just bend them to fit!!

some of the 2003s had a problem with wipers stopping too high. I haven't heard of the same problem with 2004s
Let your dealer do the adjustment. The car is under warranty, and it's possible something may need to be replaced, not just adjusted.
Could be a "park" position problem with the wiper motor

I'm having a problem kind of like this. My passenger side blade is WAY too low - lower than my drivers side. It's so low that If I lift it up and let rest where it wants to - it would lay just over the top of the hood. Right now it's forcibly staying just over the plastic peice behind the hood - distorting my blade.

Can I fix this myself, or is it time for a trip to the doc too? :(

IMO a trip to the dealer is in order, providing you Marauder is still under warranty.

Yes, it's actually covered under two warranties :D Still has 6,000Miles left on it from original buyer and I bought an extended warranty when I purchased it. :)

Heh, the ODO just tripped 30,000 today actually ;) And what better way to bring in 30,000 miles than to spank a Scion tC several times?:burnout: just got back and I'm caffeinated from it :D:banana:
