This Marauder is currently for sale on eBay.
What I can't figure out is it a Black MM that wants to be Silver or a Silver MM that wants to be Black?

Festus,
It looks like an original Black MM to me. I guess it is sorta reminiscent of the hood flames from back in the '50's and '60's.

That paint style comes and goes, I remember when it was big in the mid to late 80's. It is usually on large cars.
I think the design is called scallops.
It looks okay on the Marauder, I wouldn't do it to mine but it looks good.

Looks like a high-speed impact between a black MM and an errant can of white paint that fell off the back of a truck on the highway.
Just goes to show: don't tailgate! :)
Seriously, though... it's all a matter of personal taste. I applaud the final product as it seems like it was well executed, and I applaud the owner's originality. It's just not my cup of (insert favorite beverage here).

Like I said before, *****in'..... While flame's would probably look better ( these look better on 50's rides) this guy had a little imagination to make his Marauder look different. :pimp: :pimp: :rasta:
