Just got the International Mercury Owner's Association (IMOA) 2004/2005 Vendors, Parts Suppliers, Membership List registry. By my count, we have 78 2003 and 16 2004 Marauders registered with IMOA at the time of printing! :up:
If my ciphering is correct, we comprise at least 3 to 4% of IMOA's membership... not to bad considering our limited and recent production and IMOA's global membership. There's probably more that didn't make the list due to timing. Maybe some of the 100 or so of the IMOA members who didn't register the year / model of their vehicle listed at the back of the registry are unrecognized brothers and sisters. Check your listing!
Safe to say a majority of us who are on IMOA's role represented at MVII. Counting spouses, we were a fairly significant portion of IMOA's banquet / awards ceremony attendance. Diana and I felt very welcome by the hosts and "classic" membership. I hope our IMOA membership infusion continues to thrive on after the memories of MVII start to fade since IMOA has been so supportive of our community with QuickSilver contributions and the respect shown at the Indy banquet.
This is a call to those of us who are talented with the written word (see Dave's MI2QWK4U article in the Spring 2004 issue of QuickSilver): Please feel moved to contribute articles, letters, tech q & a, picture bios and classifieds to keep us active in the membership.
