Got the Jacket!!!

Picked the car up Dec 20th and got my jacket on Jan 16 (after sending back the card).

Very impressive. It comes in a black box with the Mercury head and a garment bag to keep it nice when you are not wearing it. Also the fact that it is lamb skin not cow (sorry if there are any tree huggers on the forum, you won't want to send in your card. Just joking, please don't flame me). :D

I am 6' 3" around 225 and ordered an XL. Fits perfect for those who want to know about what size to get.

Just got my jacket today and, well, I must say I'm somewhat disappointed. It isn't anywhere near the quality of the Roots jacket I got with the Cobra. Oh wll. If Ford has to cut quality somewhere to make a buck, I'd rather it was in the wearing apparel rather than in the driving apparel!!!

I don't care for the style, I was looking for something more like a bomber jact (without the furry coller) has anyone bought the sport jacket, I like the style of that but can't tell if it's just a wind breaker or something thicker like paded or quilted. anyone know?

And it's really nice, Bill. It's pretty thick, filled, quilted, whatever. And has the godhead with Mercury Marauder surrounding it and on the back, near the top of the collar "Marauder".

Great for more occasions than the leather.

wish they debossed the god's head into the leather.

When LM called me back in July about my Marauder I told them they should debossed the head into the jacket, have they???

Got my jacket yesterday. Nope they did not emboss the God's head in the outer leather. I like the jacket. It is a good weight for driving in.
Not bulky at all. :cool:

Got mine yesterday! Not bad. A little plain looking...but nice soft leather and not to bulky.
