thanks- roadpigI had it installed for about 3-4 months and drove down to Atlantic City and back again and have had no problems. You just need an SCT Micro tuner for the new program and corrected speed Odometer reading. if not your odometer will be 15-18 MPH too fast...

pig: Traction control doesn't care what the RAR is...it's only concerned if one wheel is spinning faster than the other...

If you are sure it is gear whine, then you need to take it in as soon as possible and have them adjusted before you damage them. I've had my 4.30's for about 17000 miles now and they are as quiet as when they were installed.

Again, better safe than sorry.

I must echo what John has said. You need to bring it in to the axle shop immediately. Once the gears wear enough they won't be able to be reset correctly and that means new gears.

Best,

Dan

Get Ford Racing 4.10 gears. Get axles from a Ford dealer.

I'd get the installation kit, fluid (I prefer Redline) and also pickup axle bearings and seals just in case yours don't look good. You can always return them.

It's better than starting 574839752304578203479023329572 new threads asking which oil or spark plug to use.
