I just can't seem to get it right. After 3000 miles I still can't accelerate evenly. I push the gas pedal down, slowing increasing pressure..nothing happening..then all of a sudden the car takes off like a rocket. Is there a dealer adjustment that can be made to the gas pedal to improve this or is it just me. What say yee Marauder folks?? Anybody else have this problem?

Not I. You could try driving another MM to see if it's the car or your style
of foot.

Ford had this exact same issue on explorers. It was from the throttle body blade hanging up on the casting. I believe they were replacing them under warranty.

Mine has that lurch feature also. I think it's the high stall converter. Never thought much about it, but it's cool, sort of.

The best advice is to road test another 2004 Marauder. Then you will know for sure if yours has a problem..

My experience is almost the same. I think what you may be seeing is that at around 20-30mph it shifts into overdrive and bogs down. I will be getting the SCT to eliminate this. With programming, they can hold the OD off until 60mph.
