Guys tell me what to do! Like I was explaining to Logan in a private message I bought my 2003 MM in Chapel Hill North Carolina in July of 2003. Within the first 5,000 miles I added DR chip, 4.30 gears, Denso plugs, stat,Stallion torque conv. and Full system from Kooks. After about 13,000 miles I noticed a tick coming from the drivers side of the engine which I learned through this site what was Happening. I live in Brooklyn so I took the car to a Dealer in Long Island, Nice guys..... they replaced the head with the new one and sent me on my way. I drove the car to NC and on the way back there was the tick again. When i returned to the Dealer they told me to use heavier oil instead of the ford oil. So I put in Royal Puple 10/30. Drove the car for another 2,000 miles and the tick is still there. The car has been at the dealer for a week now and they're telling me that as service tech is coming out and that if there is any performance mods to the car that He's going to void my warranty... Can anybody help me or tell me what to do.. thanks

Magnuson-Moss Warranty – Federal Trade Commission Improvement Act of 1975

Do a search on the above.

That is unfortunate but it is a risk we all take when we modify. I am about to purchase an extended warranty even though I expect to be denied coverage on tranny or engine (if needed) due to mods. But the warranty on power window motors, air conditioner, power seats, and other such "small items" is important to me.

What you should be doing is gathering up posts from this site regarding the valve tick problem and presenting them to the dealership. It's a fairly common problem, one that do date, Ford has done a crappy job of addressing.

If Ford wants to cancel you're warranty, they're going to. Whether your car is there or not, so I would suggest that your course of action is to provide documentation proving it's not something caused by your modifications.
