During the emblem replacement search I found '72 Marquis Brougham badges. After grinding away the hockey sticks the surround was filled with epoxy and the new emblems set into the wet goo. Then, using the Dremel tool, I cleaned up the extra hardened epoxy, giving it a stippled look, then painted it. I'll do a better job on the front one, but it's, well, different. There's photos in my Gallery.

Remember the Mike's birthday festival month concept? Three more days for additions to the treasure pile. After that, it's pre-Christmas stuff, and wise participants leave a bit of a gap, say, until mid-September, at least. Of course, I will be needing some things to fill the new trunk organizer, which will not count against future collections, since the organizer was delivered before the August deadline. Y'know, smaller tool box, (with new tools, of course) ...stuff like that.

I called Wes at Innovative Interceptors and ordered the replacement girdle for when they replace the bad rear. Now when they tell me to bring it in, they can replace the aluminum foil junk that's protecting my precious rear, with the new shiny high tech one.
