Wow...Very cool. I can't say I'm game for this look on my MM, but it is one bad azzed statement, and I love it. It says nothing less that "Master of the Road."
First thought...You're using a tint on the tail lamp lenses, but with a little preparation, you can use body paint and clearcoat, and it will match the sheetmetal gloss.
Second thought...Those polished tips now look out of place. If you want to go for the total "evil in your face" Grim Reaper look, they got to get black...IMHO. They'll probably look twice as dangerous in black too.
Outstanding work, Joe, thank you! I too, was compelled by ForNut's wheels in ATL, as well as Cruztaker's wheels in Ennis, and again in Hershey. Compelled to the point where I tried to buy Barry's wheels from him before I left for home. I know how compelling this look can be once seen by the eyeball.

Thanks! bud'.

Have nixed the paint thought because the ( Nite Shades ) tint does allow light to shine thru ( only a darker red - which does have a sinister look at night ). The reason that the lenses aren't glossy now is because I've been tinting them in stages; when I'm satisfied they will get a gloss clearcoat.

Ya ... the look is kinda different to say the least.
Maybe now it won't be mistaken for a Marauder.

Wheels look good.
I like the blacked out window trim also.
After my car was re-painted in June my buddy at the body shop painted my taillight black. They were done with nite shades. I wanted the paint effect. Barry let me know before hand you only need the top two ribs red.

For a Marauder two ribs is fine, however, I have the 4 bulb taillights; meaning: the 3rd rib is the turnsignal - in my case it's amber ( though there other model years that have it red ).

SHERIFF - HAHAHA! Brake pad dust doesn't show up as bad either, eh?
Wasn't really a problem is the past since both the outer and inner rim surfaces were given coats of polish ( Liquid Glass ). Each washing of the vehicle included cleaning the rims and it was a simple matter of - wheel cleaner ( Westley's espree ULTRA Wheel Magic ) + brush ( outside ) and wheel cleaner + wash mitt ( inside ).
But you're right ... brake dust will not be as noticeable. *But then too, I wipe down the rims every couple of days.

You know...I hunted and hunted for black anodized lug nuts when I first started the black wheel obsession. But I didn't like the entire wheel blacked out in the long run. I used corvette black powder coat color and had the outer rim edge high polished afterward.
Turned out the silver lug nuts looked great, and with a little fiddling with the center caps...they did as well.
Nice job man, and welcome to the black wheel club.

Very stealthy!!! :D
What made you go with 245/55-18 all around?
***UPDATE***
I just looked at your pix....talk about dark!!! Looks awesome!!! :D How have the tinted headlights affected light output? Got any pix of the headlights on? I'd be curious to see.

THANKS ! for the compliments.
Regarding 245/55x18 ... fills the wheelwells more betterer -AND- $400 versus $1200 ( REALLY wanted the 255/45x18 Goodyear Eagle F1 DS-G3 ... Mr. Wallet spoke and then depression set-in ). I figure that the BFGs will last until I REALLY need the Goodyears; meaning suspension / performance upgrades.
*And before you say it - I know, I know ... Lower it. :D
Regarding headlight tint ... "Yes" it definitely dimishes ( pun intended ) light output ( nothing that driving around with the brights on doesn't cure though :) ). Since the tint is static-cling, it's easy on / easy off. And "Yes" it has remained affixed at highway speeds, in the rain, etc.. And although there have been several LEO encounters, there have been no pull-it-overs, no citations, no warnings, etc.; though I did receive a parking-lot comment from a deputy sheriff - Now that is black !. I took it as an official hokey dokey  *But then I'm just a pawn in the game of life ( got a sign on my door to prove it - Home for the terminally wierd :D ).
Regarding additional pic's ... Being a 35mm o'fart and digitally impaired I'm just lucky to have these; they were taken by bud' at his place with his digital camera.
