Received it today. It looks simple enough to do. The instructions didn't mention any torque number when reinstalling the upper half of the intake. Anyone know? Also, there was no mention of a bolt down pattern. Am I correct in assuming that a criscross pattern should be used? Thanks.

I don't have a torque number to give you, When I did it, after aligning the bolts thru both gaskets and spacer I just simply in a circular pattern tightened each bolt a little bit. Just went around several times using a 3/8" drive ratchet. You can feel the gaskets compressing as you go around, I stopped when there was no more give.

I know this is not exactly what you were looking for but is the best I can give you, if you worked a wrench before you will know when to stop, you can feel it when is all evenly seated all the way around, just remember these are not head bolts so don't try to be superman with the ratchet.

I did the same thing Mr. X did, tighten each one little by little evenly throughout one a time.

Don't over tighten, you'll hear the squeek as they tighten up, and remember, your working with aluminum type softness here.

Put it on this afternoon. Alongf with the PHP air box it makes a noticeable difference. She really screams from 4k rpm up to the shift point.

NOTICE the Torque spec is 89lb/in, NOT lb/ft !!!

So this is 1/12th the torque of 89lb/ft or the equivalent of 7.5lb/ft.

I knew someone who made that mistake and ended up having to buy a lower intake because he snapped off all the bolts.

I got one today (in transit)it is supposed to be worth 5-8 hp, to me thats not too bad for a simple inexpensive mod I would be willing to go back on the dyno to see what it is worth on my car.

Can someone provide the ordering information, website, price, and expected power gain from doing this?

Thanks,

David
