View Full Version : Chicago Car Show Feb. 14th thru 23rd

Hey Chicago MM owners who wants to meet at the Chicago Car show? Looks like possible dates are: Sat. the 14th, Sun. 15th or Sat. 22nd or Sun 23rd.

$10.00 per ticket and I'm buying Sarg's.

Sarg and I are going to run our MM's off to see the differance between stock and the Rienhart package mods.

To get tickets before the show, (save a lot of wait time), we will need to mail order them soon!

Please let me know what day works the best and I'll determine a place where we can all meet before the show.

Note: Had my stock MM up to 125 mph today, still no speed limiter? Front end started to float from side to side without moving the steering wheel so I backed off. I don't like that floating feeling!

See- I just said on another thread--my stock was at 123 and no limit reached yet--see- others say 117==myaybe some were looked lover on the limiter or whatever----glad to see another stock doing the same--w/o any problems--seems we have twins...:beer:

Why buy tickets to the Auto Show,go hit up your salesperson for some,every dealer gets a ton of free tickets,I've got 4 coming from my dealer after buying the truck there. Don't be shy,get a "late rebate" in ticket form.

I said I hit 123 mph also and did notice a little vibration.That test of speed was good enough for me.And was called to task because the MM's are't suppose to go that fast?
Bill I would'nt be able to go till the 22nd or 23rd?:coolman:

Sorry, guys, can't make the 22-23 weekend, I'm out of town on business. But, the 14-15 weekend works.

When you guys hit the 120+ speeds was you OD on or off?

I bounced of 117 twice now with the OD on.

I maxed out at 120 MPH in 3rd gear, OD off. There was abit more to her, but the performance numbers crash at 6000 RPM. Turn on the OD, let it lock up and see what happens?

My O/D was on.Would your O/D off work at that high speed?Guess it's time to read my MM manuel again.

With OD ON and 4:10s + Dennis' Chip + Dyno-tech driveshaft, 140+ is not only possible....it's smooooooth...

I had my OD on!

I didn't have any vibration problems but the front end seemed to float as if my tires where riding over water so 125 mph was far enough for me!

Maybe I need to have the front end checked for alignment?
