That brings back memories of my childhood. The drive up the Palisades Parkway or 9W. Use to hike and climb those cliffs all the time, found a lot of interesting stuff along there.

Bear MT., 7 Lakes Drive and Anthony Wayne. Use to go to the pool at AW quite often, until the bus loads started coming up from the city and the little kids were pissing in the pool.

Nope can't make it, but would like to visit again someday. Will let you know if I am ever in the neighborhood. The Palisades Parkway would be a nice road for the Marauder. :drive:

What's happening in Bear Mountain ???


Every Wednesday, April through October there is a cruise. Upwards of 700 cars descend on the mountain! :beer:

Not going tonight. But would like to get everyone in the area to attend in the next couple of weeks.

I would go tonight but my car is in for service.

I didn't know about the cruise - I wish someone would have brought it up sooner!
