I was in Iowa over the weekend and saw a Marauder on I-29 near Omaha on the other side of the river, 11:20am, Friday 9/3/04.

Anyone Here? :D

Car was going exactly the speed limit...I know this because my friend who wasdriving was doing the same and the MM was pacing us until he/she got off of the exit. :D

It could have been me, I believe went over into Iowa for gas on Friday. There is a small portion that is I80/I29 there in Council Bluffs. If you were elsewhere than that few mile stretch, I have no clue (though there are a small number of MMs in the Omaha area).

Yup, it was near council bluffs where I saw ya. I wasn't in my MM...I was in a red suburban and my friend was driving. We were heading toward Harlan for lunch then to Earling. He married a girl from that area so we flew there for the weekend because her family offered to have a reception there. She lives in NYC where we are.

I tell ya, I loved it out there and that looks like a place where I could enjoy my MM...not this concrete jungle with pot holes. :D

And did I mention 75+ speed limits on the Interstates (except for Iowa)

I was told that and got all excited!!!

NYC's speed limit is 50 and the suburbs are 55 mph. To get 65 in NY State you have to be quite far out of the city.

I wish I could consistently drive my MM at 75 on the open road w/o breaking the law.

Yeh I know how you feel. I grew up in Mt. Holly NJ (Exit 5 on the Turnpike), then lived on and off in DC from 1974-1999 (NAVY). I've been out here since AUG99, and I LOVE IT OUT HERE. :-)

I know where Mt. Holly is...I used to work for Lockheed...you know...the battleship in the cornfield. :D I was a Radar Design Engineer back in 98-99. that was a nice quiet area but i think I liked Iowa a bit better.
