I have a 2003 with 8000 miles on it and one of the struts is sqeaking. I hear you can not grease them because they are sealed so it will have to be replaced. Will this be covered under warranty or is this one of those things that are pro rated? Any help would be appreciated.

Some years back I had all the struts/shocks on a Probe replaced under warranty, no cost to me. Is it leaking?

If it helps, I took in my wifes Taurus for a dead battery, and they didn't even pro-rate it. They just replaced it under warranty.
