Linda and I have been hoping someone would have a get together close by(Hotlanta is a little to far for us) so what ever we pick is fine with me.As for me the river package looks good but what ever we decide will be OK.

I live outside of Philadelphia. A very nice ride in the fall is up Route 32. It runs next to the Delaware River canal. I nice and twisty road, plenty of trees, bed and breakfasts along the way. There is a winery at one point with an incredible view of the area. We could start from Willow Grove which has an exit from the PA turnpike and hotels there. The route can take us by Lake Nokamixon or you can go to Easton to the Crayola Crayon factory. You can also go on to Stroudsburg for the trains or on to Route 6 (I think) for the scenic drive they've been advertising.

I think Rich was making a veiled reference to Leif Erickson. :stooges:
By the way, did I mention that I was at last Friday's game when the O's pounded the Yankees 14-8 !!!! :woohoo:

Now, now, don't make me break out my OTHER avatar.
I'm trying for peace love and unity here.... :snoopy:

Oh, and in all my years (26) of driving I have yet to hit a deer, so I like 'em no matter what speeds they work at. Consider them a "good luck" thingy.

If I had a prize.. you'd have won!
I'd have loved to been at that game. I'll be at the yard Oct 1 for the Red Sux.
I'll be torn though, my hatred of the Skankees may force me to internally cheer for a Sux win if they have a chance to take the divison from the Skanks... but it'll hurt.

except when I rake them.
Guess I should get a leaf blower.
I'd love to cruise in my Marauder to see pretty colored leaves in Pennsylvania.\
So would my wife.
