Dealer had a nice black one. Six disc changer, pockets on the rear of the front seats, auto trunk release, and park brake release. Long story short I got then down to $26,504. I would have taken it in a heartbeat but they wanted to soak me on the trade in. Which I know I'm not upside down on, I booked it. I know where there is three red ones for $25,999. I rather not have red (no offense). Oh well I'm still trying.:)

26504 is too much for a 2003 in my opinion.

Try like $23-$24 depending on milage.

Keep working on it...you won't be disappointed!

Ahh...I read too fast :)

Thought it said pockets on the Front of the seats which would mean 03.

Good luck though. Not a bad price at that.

2004 Marauders don't have an Auto Parking Brake Release...

They all have pockets on the back of the front seats. Some of the '03's also had pockets on the fronts of the seat bottom, aka map pockets.

Now go forth and buy a Marauder.

IMO most dealers try and steal your trade. In most cases it is better to sell privately.

OK! Sounds like your close...
Now what is your location?

Maybe someone can help you by pointing where their are other Marauders
for sale?

Just a thought.

Good luck and report back with the car!

Oop's my mistake. I thought the 04's didn't have the pockets on the back of the front seats. I'm trying, just gotta get out of the VW. I might try selling it out right but wanted to just have a dealer pay it off. It's faster that way usually. I can only find three black ones in a LARGE area. There was four but one sold. Especially finding out that production has already stopped. The real bad part is the more I drive one the more I want it!! Reminds me of the Mark VIII only slower but with better suspension. I know I can make it as strong if not stronger then my Mark. The sales guy was even going to give me the big poster they had of it. OUCH, I want it somebody stop me!!:fishslap:

What area are you in? Tell the dealer with the three red ones to do a dealer trade and get the black one you want. Then do your deal.

My thoughts exactly. I will probably be at the other dealer tomorrow night. I'm basically in the Sacramento, California area.

Check this out!!! The next morning after almost getting the black MM my wife is in the horrid Passat in stopped traffic waiting for the train to go by. A gal in a suburban fails to see her and rear ends the Passat. Momma is fine but the sad part is that it didn't total that stinking car! So now I wait impatiently to get it fixed so I can trade it in. Right now I would take the 3K hit the dealer wanted on the trade. Well hopefully I'll still be able to find a black one after the car is fixed. The blessing is that if I would have done the deal that night it would have been a day old MM that got deep trunked! This Passat is going to be the death of me:bows: . Momma thought the whole thing is funny!!!! Also the check engine light came on again that day. It's one thing after another with that car. I have to take the hit and trade it, hopefully whomever buys it from a dealer will get a warranty. I could not sell this car to somebody with a clear mind. Sorry just had to vent about it. Small problems I know but still aggravating .

Glad to hear your wife is ok.

Cars can be fixed...even ones that aggravate you :)

Give it some time....you'll get your hands on a MM.

Just an idea. We trade smashed cars all the time and the owner gives us the insurance check. We wholesale them to other used car lots.

Not sure if this dealer would do that.If I was closer to ya that would definatley work. I'll just sit tight for now. Trying to get the car into the body shop today.
