Packed up 3 passengers, the pet and myself. Drove 340 miles to safety.

Returned by driving 340 miles in 5 hours driving time.

Both times I arrived fresh.

The Marauder had the room, amenities and performance to make a potentially high stress situation a no stress situation.

Marauder is the only way to go. :banana2:

Glad to hear you made it through safe and sound. I notice the "freshness" aspect to the Marauder also. No matter the length of the drive, I am relaxed when I get to my destination. :cloud9: Other cars (and vans) just seem to wear me out .... :wflag:

The wife drives an Econoline 150 with the Ford Traveler Package.

When the OEM Michelins wore out on the E150 I replaced with Goodrich light truck tires, went cheap. The van now wonders on the highway with these Goodrich tires. With the OEM Michelin's she tracked straight and true thru 2 Tropical Storms/weak Category I hurricanes.

The wife had to pull Hurricane duty at the local hospital. I wanted her to have the van in the event she had to drive after the hurricane thru debris, + the Marauder can attrack the wrong kind of attention. :gunfire:

Although I would have had plenty of room in the E150 I would have arrived stressed and tired. The E150 cannot accelerate, handle or brake itself out of trouble. :(
