Saw these for 'stangs and trucks, thought I could adapt one for the MM. Still got a little work to do with blending the parts together. The texture is different also. I started out with the 'stang part, the truck pod is on the opposite side (maybe both could be used). Hacked it up and attached it to a new MM part. Used the dark paint like on the console pod, need to get some of the lighter paint so it's OEM color.

Got a "special" instrument that will be installed there. It's right next to the tach, which is important in this instance. Somewhat obscures the odometer reset button from sight but doesn't interfere with operation.

I saw his setup at Indy. Both corners should suit him just fine!

I like it! I was thinking about adapting a steering column gauge pod myself, but I hadn't thought about grafting it to an OEM part. Nice job, and I look forward to seeing the final product.

Wait guys...there's no "adapting" needed. www.adtr.net (http://www.adtr.net/) sells them for ya'll! With the shifter delete already there!

I did check this one out, but went with the dual mustang dash pod from Autometer instead.

Might try one, but as I recall Autometer only listed three versions on their website, Mustang (floor shift), Ford trucks w/AT (column shift), and Ford trucks w/MT (floor shift). I checked out the columns of all 3 and none of them was the same as the MM. So I chose the one with the gauge on the right (Mustang) as a starting point. I'll try to check with adtr Monday to see if they actually are a direct fit.

I ordered this part and it is a direct fit. When I was trying to figure out where I wanted to mount my Autometer oil temperature gauge I ordered an A-pillar pod, a steering coulmn pod, and a cup mount, all for the 2"1/16 inch gauge and all from Summit. When I decided which one I wanted to use (I used the A-pillar location) I just returned the others and Summit returned my $. The steering column pod that slipped right over the MM steering column is Summit #ATM-15011, for a 1999-03 Ford Super Duty with manual transmission. The gauge pod is on the right (passenger) side of the unit unlike what is shown in the picture in Summit's latest catalogue, which shows the gauge pod on the left (driver) side of the unit. When it's in place it does obstruct the view of the tach needle at idle. If you order from another vendor it is listed in Autometer's catalogue as part #15011. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the Summit part#. Ordered the column pod and a Nordskog A/F digital guage. More blinkin' lights.
