so, my buddy's mom dies and i have to rush back to connecticut for a week. wakes, funeral homes, churches, etc. [you know what i mean.]

then, i get home to florida only to find another hurricane threatening our fair state. "no problem" i say to myself. i crack open an ice cold bud light and fire up my computer to see what my friends have been up to-only to find logan's thread about the site and the problems he's having. <ANDREW clay dice>un----ing believeable!

i'm posting here because that thread was long enough. i've never met logan. i don't need to [but i hope someday to buy him a steak and a beer at the restaurant of his choosing.] i can tell from his words, and the words of others here he's an intelligent hard-working guy who's got a full plate right now. let's not add to his headaches. this is the best site i've ever come across and consider people here my friends. i've stayed away from mustang sites because of the lack of maturity and respect for others. let's not let a good thing die because we can't excercise a little control.

now, for the real reason i'm posting here today: i say we have marauderville three at an agreed-upon site that is logan-friendly. let's do as much of the work as we can ourselves. let's say a big thank you to him the best way we can. by making his job as administrator a little easier and a lot more fun.

[tallboy steps off soapbox to grab another bud light and turn on the weather channel.]

Sorry you came home to more bad weather...mom is sitting this one out as well. Hopefully you folks on the west coast just get a little rain.

The site thing will work itself out, and actually appears as it is so. It needed to happen. Don't sweat it. And BTW: MV-I was basically in Logan's back yard, I believe that may have been a little too close for comfort. :P

The car is loaded...and they have a friend in a stone home waiting for them to flee. I personally think they are insane, as trailers don't bode well to even a CAT1 storm. But, I feel every floridians feelings of being sick and tired of heading to the shelters every two weeks. I wouldn't like it either.

Hold tight man, the eye may very well make it across to Manatee or surrounding counties. Small storm, but a PITA for the west coasters as well.

And thanks man....your'e always there, that's good!

Y'all in Jeanne's path, are in my prayers. Let us know what you need in recovery, we know how to help out.

As for the other storm here on MM.Net, it may be a long drawn out thread, but let's not start another one, please? I think this would be a way of giving Logan and others a break? Keep it all in one place makes it easier to monitor, and not have Administrators jumping all over the place. Besides, if it's not all been said yet, shouldn't be long until it has.
