Can someone with just delete-tips and no other exhaust mods tell me how they like them. I had flowmaster 40's before and want to go a different route this time.

Back in the day I did this before I did my SVO shorty headers. Not much difference IIRC. Save your money unlesss you will be doing other exhaust mods simultaneously.

This, of course, is just my opinion.

I've done just that. I had my local shop order the tips for me. They look the same, but they're 2 inches shorter. Installed was only $50. I was happy with them for that price. If I'd bought the $130 Megs tips, I would've been greatly disappointed. The exhaust is just a bit louder, but not a big difference at all.

Why not put the Megs resonator delete tips on with another set of FlowMasters or MagnaFlows or something? I love that combination on my car. Sounds just right.

I'm shocked! I woulda thought as long as you've been hanging around Todd you'd have learned his motto: If I want your opinion, I'll give it to you.

I had delete tips put on recently to compliment my Kooks system. I must say that the difference, while subtle to someone who doesn't know her voice very well, is quite an improvement to my MM's exhaust note at idle. It brings out the "blub blub" sound of a car w/headers that I was missing with the OEM tips.

Probably a blinding flash and a huge mushroom shaped cloud.

Remember - Meg tips are available from Ford Racing for $25.00 each. I bought a set several months ago - the same.
