I know the answer --- but some of you may want to "play" with this one.
I had my 12,000 mile service at the dealership ( oil and filter change, tire rotation, etrc)
After they were done, I left the dealeship, and went to accellerate to merge into traffic ---- but, the car jerked as sputtered, felt like it was running on one and two cylinders.
I turned around and went right back to the dealer "What did you do to my car????"

That's funny, that's the same thing that happend to me when I put the first set of winter tires on my car.
I laughed at the dealer techs for a week.

I don't think he meant tire rotation, but good catch anyway, RF.

300B with TC, that's what he meant by 'tire rotation', Donny.
Accelerate to preset panic speed, and whammo, the PCM cuts all sorts of power back, in very dramatic ways.

Answer ---At the same time the "jerking" of the car, the TC light was flashing off and on. I turned off the TC, and the car ran fine - no problems. What happened, is that they criss cross rotated the tires, so I had one of each size on the rear. When I drove, the facct that one tire would rotate at a different speed, the TC thought is was spinning, and applied the brake. That of course would not stop the fifference in rotation, so it drove the system crazy trying to brake the one side to adjust. ( they did give me credit so I didn't have to pay for the whole service )
