Just bought a DTR from John eagle L/M. I got his card from Dawn and made contact this morning. He's lurking on the site and will probably come to the LSCC show on the 9th. He appears to be a great addition to the NTM group. WELCOME!

HD, you must've heard Jared and Carlos laughin at me... :)

Seriously, didn't have time to figure out what car I wanted to own next, still up in the air on it. So, bought an 03 Taurus with 20k miles on the dial. Which is fine, next hotrod I own won't be a daily driver, so either way, the POS Taurus will be around for a while...

Before anyone laughs at me...2003 MIB drives a RANGER to work... Make fun of him first.... :D

Okay, here's a peek into Dan's twisted psyche:
I like driving the Ranger. It lets me leave Pearl tucked in under her cover while I do the mudane things of my day. I've got a 124 mile round trip for work and the idea of putting miles on her makes me sad. The Ranger is an honest 29mpg and I can throw stuff in the back. I want my Pearl miles to be joyous- trips to Indy and Atlanta to see other Marauders- cruise nights at Chuck's-Dallas for club meetings. She's not a workhorse- She is for pleasure. Pleasure comes in small doses in this life- the last cookie in the jar- finding the unopened bottle of Jack Daniels-clean socks-a good wife-car magazines in the mail-parts from UPS and the perfect cup of coffee....I feel all those things every time I turn the key on on Pearl. Of course, there's a Marauder bumper sticker on the Ranger but that's the side of me that wears the occasional Jerry Garcia tie to work. Weird, huh?
