Well I finally got my post card to order my Jacket. Bought the car
on 8-12-04 so thats not to bad. It says 3-4 weeks expected delivery.
I hope they got XXL in stock.. (Big gut) heheheheh:coolman: :flag:
I sent my card in on August 17th. They told me at that time that they were out of stock on the XXL size, but they would be in within 8-10 weeks. Still waiting.

Hey Al, my card came today also. XXL also. Looks like there's gonna be a run on 'em. They should have known >skinny little guys buy Cobras< Um, both Gordon's excepted. And the second one, ...GordonB; he gets two jackets!

Maybe you'll have your jacket for the CAM meet in October. The weather ought to be cool enough to break them out again. :sweat:

Whatever you do,

don't throw out the other half of that card so when you don't get your jacket in 6 months you can phone them.

happened to me that way, they said they never got it ... ;p

Maybe you'll have your jacket for the CAM meet in October. The weather ought to be cool enough to break them out again. :sweat:

Called them Wed, they got back to me yesterday, 5-6 weeks. I guess I'll hang it in the closet until spring.

Got my car in June and I still don`t have my Jacket but I had to take the long road.First my lying salesman told me because I got the car A-Plan I would`t get a jacket then I heard that Beanstalk didn`t handle the jackets anymore.So now I called the Mercury Hotline and bingo...."Yes sir you do get a Jacket",Great.So after I give her my vin she says I will send out your card and be damned if I didn`t get my card the very next day.I fillout the info and mail it the same day.All righty here we go!,4-6 weeks and I will be "MARAUDER MAN" with my Leather on.Well now, If I don`t get my jacket tomorrow we will be entering week No.7. The only thing I can figure is that when they quit making the car Mercury would only send out info once a month insted of everyday about the jackets so I should get my Jacket in about two weeks. :bump:

Hmm. Bought mine 3 weeks before you on 7/23/04 and no card as yet. Guess I'd better give them a call...

got the car 3/04, the card came in late april, i'm still waiting for the jacket, after 3 calls. they keep telling me 8-10 weeks also. good luck !

Mr Pinter left a message on my machine that the jackets shipped to them on 09-20-04. Probably coming from the far east via tramp steamer...

Got my card today. Does anyone have a good pic of the jacket??

My silver 04 was born on jun 4 04 and brought in from pitsburgh on july 24th.

That was the closest one to Cleveland.

Got my card in the mail as soon as I got hom e last night! Only problem, is the sizes listed just go up to XXL. Ideally I wear a XXLT, or extra tall. Can you order a size not on the card? Do you have to phone it in?

Bought mine in June also, and got the card in August. Ordered a large jacket - it came in a couple of weeks later, but too big. Returned the large and finally spoke with Alan Pinter at Beanstalk a couple of days ago. He told me it will be another five weeks or so until mediums arrive from overseas. Seems like a long time to get a jacket from the purchase of the car. It's not really a good winter leather, maybe good for early spring and late fall.

Called them today and asked about getting an XXLT (tall) or XXXL, etc. Was told absolutely not; just what's listed on the postcard. (?) Interesting, as I know some folks got larger didn't they?

She also confirmed that 8-10 weeks was an ideal, and said it could take many, many months.

I think I need to call this Alan guy and ask about other sizes. Couldn't hurt...

I am interested in buying a jacket. Anybody want to part with his? I don't know what size to get. (508/170lbs.) Having purchased a used '03 300A, I can't even buy a jacket retail. I wish the availability of clothes etc., would not have flamed out so quick.
