I was on fordmuscle and found this. I have UD pullies and do notice dimming lights, external and internal, when I idle. So Im wondering if this would be a correection to that and gimme lots of power. btw I know i can reprogram the PCM to idle higher but im lazy.

Yes, but it's very expensive. Check in another thread about "160 amp alternator", you'll find a lot of alternator discussions. The company I referred to in it, PA Peformance, can provide you with a 200 amp unit but it's 500-600 bucks. Mostly useful for taxi, police, or outrageous stereo systems.

I had Dennis increase my idle speed in Drive by 100 RPM and now the voltmeter stays right where it should...
