I have a 300A built 6/2002. Last week I'm driving along and the car stalls. The gauge shows I have 1/4 tank left and the fuel warning light did not come on. I'm thinking fuel pumps out so I have it towed home and put a gallon of gas from my garage in and it starts right up so then I drive to the gas station and it takes exactly 18 gallons more topped off. So it appears my gas gauge is off by approx. 1/4.

Has anyone else had this problem?

This is scary because I cant count how many times I've traveled 20-30miles between gas stations on what I thought was a 1/4 tank left and I must have been running on fumes.

This has been an issue with some MM's. You should be able to do a search on the subject and find other posts. ITMT, take it back to the dealer and have it repaired under warranty.......

There is a TSB on the sending unit. Get it replaced under warranty.

Mine does almost the exact opposite, reads full 80 mi into a full tank then the guage drops like a Marauder off a cliff (I can't believe I just said that!)
