Temperature is starting to drop, has anyone installed the Ford Factory Remote Start themselves? Any details of the install / wiring would be greatly appreciated. Was the system "plug in play" or did it at least provide decent wiring instructions with pin-outs and such.

IMHO this option the 'GOLD Alarm / Remote start option' is best installed by a dealer or their shop. Warranty matters!
