I finally got a PIC of my MM hooking and leaving the starting line very hard this past summer at the Norwalk "Fun Ford" event. In the humidity and heat on this pass it ran an 11.57 and I forgot there exact 60ft but it was around a 1.66 I believe.

I don’t know how clear the pic will post but I hope you can see the Nitto 305 Drag Radial literally wrinkling!!

Thanks

I've played with it any where from 18-22psi and lately I found 18 to really do the trick. I'm going to try even lower soon.

Lidio,

Beautiful shot! I have that 11.57 on video...unfortunately I can't quite figure out how to transfer it into a clip yet. When I do, you'll be the first to see it. Take care, and good luck with the Mach1.

Lidio, what kind of burn-out do you do with the Nitto 305's before you launch. Do they require lots of heat?

A Pretty harsh one. I start in 1st and bump the shifter up to manual 2nd and hold it there at about 5000rpm until the car starts to really want to move and grab. Their smoking pretty good by this time. Its about 6-10 seconds long.
